Political characteristics
King: Ceremonial power. Appointed
Lords or barons: Provided money and knights to the king and the king
provided land to them.
Knights: Provided protection and military service to the lords, who
provided land to them.
 Peasants: Provided food and services when demanded. The knights granted them land.

Economic characteristics
The King owned all the land in the country and decided who he would lease land to. He was not in complete control of everything.


Social characteristics
Barons (Lords) bought land from the King which was known as a manor. Knights were given land by a Baron in return for military service
when demanded by the King.Villains were given land and protection by Knights in exchange for free labor, food and service whenever demanded.

Cultural characteristics
Feudalism was a Medieval Europe political, social, economical system
comprised of a set of reciprocal legal and military obligations among nobles and villains.
